What is the youngest age to enrolled in the class?
We take children from the age of 2 years old and up for our group class, younger children may need to be accompanied by their parents for the duration of the class. For private lessons, all ages of children are welcome.
What is the maximum number of students in a group class?

What is the teacher-to-student ratio?
Minimum two teachers for each class with more than 10 students.
Camps & Regular classes
Are the teachers native Mandarin speakers? What is the qualification of the teachers?
All our teachers are native Mandarin speakers with Mandarin teaching experience, qualified with CTCSOL (Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate and Grade 1 or 2 PSC(Mandarin Proficiency Test) certificate.
Does the teacher speak other languages in class or only Mandarin Chinese?
Little Panda has an immersive language teaching approach, and therefore all our classes are taught in Mandarin predominately, however our teachers can help with English/German/French/Luxembourgish at times.
Do you teach simplified Chinese or traditional Chinese?
Little Panda classes are principally taught simplified Chinese characters, however we also have teachers who can offer lessons teaching traditional Chinese characters.
Are the children grouped by age or level?
Little Panda groups students according to their learning needs, so both of the above are used in practice.
How do I know which class is suitable for my child?
Little Panda holds trial class for first-time attendees. The trial class can be done anytime during the semester, only one trial class can be taken.

When can I enroll?
Registration for any school term will begin at the end of the last term and finish on the first day of the term. As the places are limited, it is suggested to confirm the registration as soon as possible.
How are classes paid for?
Little Panda classes are divided into terms with each term lasting approximately 10-11 weeks.
Enrolments can be renewed each term and a registration fee needs to be paid per year per child before attending sessions.
Can I take a trial class?
Children’s classes: We offer in-person trial classes for our gourp lessons for €30 per class per child, with the option of signing up for a full term with a discount of €30. Only one trail class can be taken.
Adult classes: We offer one payable trial class before purchasing a full package.
Can I accompany my child in the trial class?
Parents can accompany their children for the first class, it is recommended to wait outside the class from the second class onward in order to provide a safe and independent learning environment for all children. Little Panda can provide photos and feedback from our teachers upon request.
Can I cancel or reschedule (make-up) my lessons?
Lessons cannot be canceled or rescheduled for the children's / adult group classes. It is also not possible to get a refund for missed sessions. Private classes can be rescheduled with at least 48hours advance notice and all lessons must be finished within the package validity date, in emergent cases with medical certification the class can be rescheduled with a shorter notice period.

What is the refund policy?
Tuition and class materials fees are charged on a per term basis for group class and private classes. Fees are payable before the first day of the term, and once payment has been processed there will be no refunds. Please book a trial class in advance to make sure the classes are suitable.

School rules
- All students should be punctual for class, late entry is not allowed.
- All students should use the bathroom before class starts.
- All students and parents should be respectful to school properties and premises, the cost of replacement for vandalized items will be borne by student(s) responsible for the damage.
- All students should always be supervised by their parents before and after class.
- Do leave the areas in school in a better condition and state of cleanliness after use.
- Food and drinks are to be consumed only with the supervision of the parents, litter is disposed into the rubbish bins immediately after consumption.
- Only one parent/guardian is allowed to accompany the student, it is recommended to encourage student to join class alone.
